According to statistics from Vietnam Customs, after skyrocketing by 108% to 88 million USD in the first month of the year, tuna exports in February 2022 continued to grow at a high rate of 57%, reaching 67 million USD. This number is nearly double that of February 2019, just before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Vietnam's tuna exports accumulated in the first two months of 2022 have reached 155 million, up 82% from the same period in 2021. To achieve this, businesses are taking advantage of opportunities from new trade agreements such as EVFTA or CPTPP.
